Playing well pumps the spirit.

Maria teaches a hybrid of fluid movement, pranayama, and meditation, with Katonah Yoga® being a recent integration that she has begun to weave into her practice, providing a practical framework for self-study, intentionally. Manipulating form for function, playing with personal measure and a well formulated metaphor, her classes aim for a 360-degree vision, potentiating joy and longevity, serving the community and finding friends in the process, eventually.

Maria’s goal is to share the tools for wellness so people can be self-sufficient. With options comes empowerment. If one has the power of their own health they can be autonomous, manipulating life in a good way. It is joyful to be powerful. One can become the magician and mediator of their own life. For her that's the game of yoga - having all the tools and techniques, and knowing how and when to play them. Because Yoga works. She promises.
